SA8000 Social accountability policy

Elite's management fully understand that abiding by the international labor standard and protecting the labor's rights are the basic condition that a accountability enterprise should possess and the expectation of relevant beneficiary, such as labors, clients, consumers, the public, government, etc.

Social accountability management is part of elite's daily operation, just as the quality management. Elite has appointed upper management to establish, execute and maintain the sociality accountability management system effectively and make the requirement extend to our suppliers gradually.

Elite promises to obey the labor laws and regulations of country and local area, other relevant regulations of labor standard which have been signed by Elite and all the requirement of SA8000 standard, respect to the principle of International Convention or agreement, and improve the working condition and labor's benefit continually.

Elite claims that:

  1. Forbid to employ child labor and fore labor; legally protect the Juvenile worker; do not cooperate with the supplier who employs child labor or forces labor deliberately.
  2. Respect to the labor's rights of resignation freedom, forbid any form of forced labor.
  3. Provide a safe and healthy work environment; ensure the labor's health and safety;
  4. Promote the cooperation of labor and enterprise; respect the labors' rights to form and join trade unions and bargain collectively;
  5. Provide a fair and equal work environment, no discrimination or sexual harassment
  6. Respect to labor's basic human rights, no corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion or verbal abuse
  7. Control the overtime hours; reasonably arrange the working time, rest and holiday.
  8. Provide a reasonable salary and improve the benefit gradually, so as to strengthen the labors' satisfaction.
